Stylish bow ballerinas from Gabor! A beautiful and delicate model, with fine black nubuck leather and a bow decoration. The Hovercraft sole is nicely a bit thicker, making them wonderfully soft to wear. Thanks to the slightly rounded toe box and the Gabor Best Fitting feature, there is plenty of room for the toes. Beautiful ballerinas for everyday and festive occasions!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

  • Not a high instep and not a low instep
  • A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
  • A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
  • Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
  • In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
  • Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
  • Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Usually, size 43 with a G or H last from Gabor fits Maria’s foot well. This ballerina model was a surprise! Size 42.5 fit Maria’s foot comfortably despite the narrow F last. Size 43 felt too roomy. Ballerinas should fit the foot just right; too roomy ones don’t stay on. The rounded toe felt comfortable, though the width felt just a tiny bit tight at the little toe of the right foot. But the leather will surely give a bit in width. Lovely, soft, and beautiful shoes!
